Job Title: Market Assistant & Bubble Tea Barista
Brand: KANCHU – Nepali Street Food & Bubble Tea
Location: Deal Porter Square
Shifts: Saturdays and Sundays (approximately 11am–4pm)
Pay: £12.21 p/h + staff meal provided
KANCHU is an exciting and fast-growing street food brand, serving handcrafted Nepali momo dumplings and Taiwanese bubble tea at some of London’s most vibrant markets. We’re looking for a reliable, proactive, and fast-paced all-rounder to join our weekend team.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be friendly, confident, and excellent with customers.
- Have experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Be a fast learner who can think on their feet.
- Stay calm under pressure and adapt quickly.
- Be genuinely reliable and team-orientated.
- Have bubble tea barista experience or be keen to learn.
- Be comfortable working in an outdoor market setting.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and serving bubble tea and food items.
- Setting up and packing down the market stall.
- Taking customer orders and handling payments.
- Keeping the stall clean, organised, and presentable at all times.
- Supporting the kitchen and service team as needed.
Experience in bubble tea, food stalls, hospitality, or barista work is highly desirable. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone genuine who takes initiative, works well under pressure, and is passionate about great service.
