Your opportunity

This is a 12-month trainee programme with a start date from September 2025 focusing on gaining first-hand experience in the Market Data team and discovering what your future would be like with us through induction, on-the-job learning, skills trainings and networking.

  • Responsible for management and timely administration of market data invoices through the payment process
  • Relationship owner of select market data and / or research providers
  • Become the SME of owned market data and research products / services
  • Provide various reporting to end users, department leads, etc
  • Ensure JHI’s utilization of market data products and services is compliant with contracted terms
  • Troubleshoot and assist with all inquiries, requests and issue resolutions from internal stakeholders in support of market data and research services
  • Manage the market data and research system data integrity and assist with any enhancements made to the system
  • Engage in analytic projects to best optimize our data consumption through current providers or through the evaluation of alternatives
  • Perform occasional audits of invoicing to correct any overpayments or discrepancies
  • Understand contracted cost structure and provide suggestions for cost reductions
  • Carry out other duties as assigned

Must-have skills

  • Interest in the Financial industry
  • Proficiency in MS-Office (specifically Excel and PowerPoint) required
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be a self-motivated individual who grasps concepts quickly, takes ownership of projects and processes and is a team player
  • High level of interpersonal and analytical skills, with a proven capability to make contributions to teams and initiatives
  • Enjoys working in a close team environment
  • Ability to work and develop relationships with various individuals at all levels of the company
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines
