We’re looking for a practical, hands‑on Maintenance Assistant to help look after our amazing care home in Clevedon.
Your Job will be to ensure the building, facilities, and equipment are well maintained, safe, and fully compliant with health and safety regulations, creating a secure and comfortable environment for all residents, staff, and visitors.
Key duties:
- Carry out repairs, decorating, and general upkeep
- Inspect and maintain plumbing, electrics and heating systems
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
- Keep accurate maintenance records and manage stock of tools and supplies
- Liaise with contractors for specialist work
About you:
- Skilled in general maintenance and basic repairs
- Health & Safety aware, with an eye for detail
- Able to work independently and prioritise tasks
- Flexible on-call responsibilities are essential

Pay: Up to £13.10 per hour
