Are you looking for a live-in care job where no two days are the same? We’ve got a brilliant opportunity in supporting a fun-loving lady in her 60s who’s always up to something; from hydrotherapy and art projects to community volunteering and days out.
You’ll live in for two weeks at a time, then have two weeks off. It’s a great setup if you enjoy variety, independence, and building real connections with the people you support.
What the job involves:
- Supporting with everyday routines and hobbies like crafts, swimming, and social events
- Helping her attend appointments and get out and about
- Providing personal care and clinical support (Peristeen, CPAP, and supra-pubic catheter – full training included)
- Helping keep the house clean and homely
- Offering occasional light support to her husband, things like a lift or having a quick chat over tea
You’ll be a key part of a warm, welcoming home and play a big role in helping her stay independent and active.
What we’re looking for:
- Someone experienced with spinal injury or similar support needs
- Comfortable with bowel care and catheter management (training given if needed)
- Aged 25+ with a valid driving licence (you’ll be using the client’s automatic car)
- Positive, proactive, and able to use initiative
- Kind, calm, and respectful
What you’ll get from us:
- Weekly pay of £910 - £1,050
- Free enhanced DBS
- Paid training and qualifications (QCF diplomas available)
- Ongoing support from a friendly, professional team
- Access to regular, long-term placements
- Rotas planned well in advance
- Pension scheme and opportunities to grow with us
- Your own annexe whilst on shift, with a kitchenette, private bathroom, and more.
