Job Summary
We’re looking for a friendly and reliable live-in team member to join our pub, with the majority of shifts based behind the bar, and occasional support in the kitchen.
You’ll be cross-trained across both front and back of house, giving you a great opportunity to develop well-rounded hospitality experience.
This is a live-in role with shared accommodation provided on-site, making it perfect for someone looking to save on rent and be part of a supportive, close-knit team.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is well-maintained and stocked.
- Assist with meal preparation when required, collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation and handling.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Work collaboratively with fellow team members to ensure a positive working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for the role is key.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A willingness to learn about culinary skills, meal preparation, and bar operations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Pay: From £12.21 per hour
