About The Role
We are looking for Life Practitioners to join our team at Tigh Bruadair in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire.
We are looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic, and a dedicated Life Practitioner to join our team. As a Life Practitioner, you will provide essential support to individuals with severe learning disabilities and complex needs. You will play a key role in helping them live fulfilling, independent lives by assisting them in daily activities and accompanying them on trips into the community.
We provide a company vehicle that can be used to transport the people we support to community activities such as shopping, meals, appointments, and outings. To drive the company vehicle you must have held a full UK drivers licence or have been driving in the UK for 2 years or more.
You will have the opportunity to enhance your skills through our competency framework, unlocking pathways to increased hourly rates of pay.

About You
- Working with the staff team across all levels to safeguard our young adults at all times.
- Participating in a wide range of innovative and exciting recreational events held within the home and wider community.
- Assisting with practical tasks relating to care. For example, cooking and cleaning.
- Creating positive relationships with the young adults, maintaining dignity and respect at all times.
- Meeting the physical, emotional, behavioural and cultural needs of the young adults.
- Continually maintaining accurate and clear record keeping.
- Ensuring that the needs of the young adults are being met and regularly reviewing and recording any changes to their needs.
- Actively contributing to the development of the team
- A genuine passion for care and to be motivated by contributing to the progression of others.
- A strong team player
- Resilient and confidence to ask for support as needed
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Computer literacy
