We are currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated individual with a passion for delivering the very best customer service.
The post within Libraries and Neighbourhood Hubs will work flexibly within the team to deliver an efficient and effective service whilst maintaining excellent customer care.
You will need to be an individual who is highly motivated, well-organised, and a problem-solver. You will have a proven track record of excellent communication and ICT skills.
The ability to use your own initiative and work without direct supervision as well as being a good team member is a requirement of the role.
Building and maintaining effective partnerships within and outside the service, dealing with complex enquiries, developing staff potential and implementing new ways of working to ensure an effective service and best value are essential to the role. You will require an understanding of the Universal Offers set out by Libraries Connected, as these offers form a major part of service delivery within Libraries. In line with the 2021-2026 library strategy, the post holder will participate in promotional and development activities and events for customers across the service and bring about improvements to customer service delivery.
You will be required to work flexibly, providing support across the Libraries and Neighbourhood Hubs Service, including evenings and weekends as and when required to meet the needs of the service. The successful candidate may also be required to work at various locations across the borough as and when required.
For an informal discussion regarding this post, please contact Julie Batty on 07552127017 or Carly Spark on 07584580451.
This post will have access to the Public Services Network, if successful you will be required to apply for a disclosure of criminal records check at the Basic level (unspent criminal convictions).
