The role
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a veterinary degree and PhD for a full-time post in production animal medicine. The successful applicant will join a team of fellow professionals within Veterinary Clinical Sciences, at the School of Veterinary Medicine, committed to providing excellence in teaching and research for the benefit of a new generation of vets.
In the role you will:
- Develop and contribute to high quality research in veterinary sciences or education, working collaboratively across the Discipline to increase research outputs.
- Use your skills to support theoretical and practical teaching within the BVMSci programme, particularly in the area of production animal species.
- Support practical assessment across all years of the programme and contribute to academic administrative duties.

- A thorough understanding of basic and applied veterinary sciences.
- A passion for veterinary sciences and a strong commitment to delivering excellent teaching.
- Enthusiasm and a willingness to work flexibly and creatively in different contexts are essential, alongside excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Experience of teaching in an educational or professional setting.

The salary range for a Lecturer B starts at £47,389, Senior Lecturer starts at £58,225 and Associate Professor starts at £71,566.
