About the role
We are looking for Learning and Development (L&D) Lead will play a pivotal role in designing, delivering, and embedding learning strategies that support the successful implementation of a major system change within the organisation.
Acting as the bridge between the project team and the wider business, the L&D Lead will ensure that training programs are tailored for each impacted area and provide the skills, knowledge, and confidence to use the new system effectively and contribute to the transformation effort.
Key responsibilities
Learning Strategy Development:
- Design and implement a comprehensive learning strategy for system change.
- Conduct training needs analysis across stakeholder groups.
- Align learning interventions to the change management plan in collaboration with Change Manager and stakeholders.
Training Design and Development:
- Creation of engaging, accessible training content (e-learning, simulations, job aids, workshops).
- Ensure effective interventions apply adult learning principles for varied skills levels
- Collaborate with SME’s to ensure instructional design and technical information is translated into blended learning solutions
Training Delivery and Implementation:
- Coordinate training delivery across business areas to reach all impacted employees timely.
- Facilitate virtual and in-person training sessions and provide hands-on user support.
- Empower line managers and Change Champions to support ongoing learning and adoption.
Adoption and Continuous Improvement:
- Implement evaluation methods and reporting to measure training effectiveness
- Review and update learning materials to proactively to address gaps and challenges.
- Provide ongoing support and resources post-implementation to sustain engagement.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Lead as main contact for learning and development requirements aligned to system change
- Regularly update project team and stakeholders on training progress and outcomes.
- Advocate for a culture of learning and agility within the organisation.
About you
- Proven experience in leading learning and development initiatives within large-scale change programs, preferably involving technology adoption.
- Expertise in training needs analysis.
- Experience developing and delivering a wide variety of learning modalities, including e-learning, workshops, and hands-on training.
- Strong understanding of change management principles and their role in learning and development.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse audiences.
- Proficiency with Learning design tools i.e. Articulate, Vyond etc.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
