Role: Production Coordinator

Location: Warwick, CV34 6TE

Hours: 37 hours per week | between 06:45 and 16:15 Monday to Thursday

Hourly Rate: Up to £20.37 ph DOE


Are you a natural leader with a passion for production and people? We're looking for a proactive and organised Production Coordinator to join our Production team in Warwick!

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll supervise a manufacturing team, ensuring production, quality, and health & safety targets are met. You'll play a key part in driving performance, supporting continuous improvement, and maintaining team morale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate team members to meet production and quality targets
  • Allocate tasks fairly and rotate responsibilities to maintain engagement
  • Support team members with problem-solving and recovery of lost production
  • Monitor and adjust line balancing to optimise output
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and manage stock within your area
  • Identify training needs and support on-the-job development
  • Deputise for the Lead Production Coordinator and support wider management initiatives
  • Attend start-up and quality improvement meetings
  • Conduct weekly health and safety inspections and assist with risk assessments

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience supervising teams in a production environment
  • Strong knowledge of heavy vehicle manufacturing or related products (e.g. RCVs, dump trucks)
  • Familiar with single-line processes and health & safety standards
  • Qualification in a production-related subject (NVQ3/HNC or similar desirable)
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Flexible with working hours, including weekday and weekend overtime
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and presenting progress updates
