Your Role

We are looking for an late shift driver to join our brilliant team at our Mercedes-Benz dealership in Reading. As an late shift driver, your role will be collecting and delivering customer HGV’s for inspection & repair. The right candidate will be able to deliver an exceptional service and to the highest quality.

️Day to day, you will be:

• Collecting and delivering customer HGV’s for inspection & repair
• Road testing
• Assisting workshop with brake tests etc.

  ️ Skills & Behaviours Required for this Role:

Qualification - You will need to be level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in HGV Vehicle Repair and maintenance, plus, will have experience in carrying out diagnostic and service repairs. What’s more, you will need the ability to identify worn & faulty components in accordance with the DVSA Standards and have a current, full UK driving license for the relevant vehicle classes.

Motivation - To ensure personal and team success, being motivated is essential and is a key part of your role and it is part of being a brilliant team player.

Attention to Detail- Precision in diagnosing issues and conducting repairs to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards.

Time Management- Ability to prioritize and complete tasks within timeframes to meet customer demands and maintain workshop efficiency.
