Job Title: Laser Cutting Operator

Salary: Up to £33,000 annually
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Summary:
We are looking for a dependable and experienced Laser Cutting Operator to join our manufacturing team. The role involves operating flat bed and tube laser machines to produce precise, high-quality components. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with laser machinery and be comfortable working with various materials and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and perform routine maintenance on flat bed and tube laser cutting equipment
- Cut materials including mild steel (up to 40mm thick) and stainless steel (up to 20mm thick)
- Handle tube laser operations for complex parts (up to 360mm diameter, 9500mm length, and 20mm thickness)
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions accurately
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications
- Perform regular equipment maintenance and report any issues promptly
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment in compliance with health and safety standards
Qualifications and Skills:
- Demonstrated experience with industrial laser cutting machinery
- Knowledge of flat bed and tube laser systems
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective time management skills; capable of working independently or within a team
