Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring they are both aesthetically pleasing and functional. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mixing cement, unloading materials and tidying up.
- Use hand tools and power tools to carry out various landscaping duties.
- Assist in laying of patios, erecting fences etc
- Dig holes for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers as required.
- Build and maintain garden beds, pathways, and other landscape features.
- Follow safety protocols while operating equipment and handling materials.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is preferred but not essential.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to landscaping tasks.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment maintenance is advantageous.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy loads as needed.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for gardening and outdoor work.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
