Job Summary: (Food Truck)
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Kitchen Team Member. As a member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant and catering services. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with food preparation and ensure that all meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and food safety.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of meals according to recipes and portion sizes
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation
- Help with inventory management, including receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Assist in setting up catering events, including arranging tables, chairs, and decorations
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries or concerns
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cook or in food preparation is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic kitchen procedures and culinary techniques is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Basic understanding of food safety principles and willingness to adhere to health regulations
