Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Assist chefs and cooks with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained to high standards.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling processes effectively.
- Support the team during busy service periods by helping with various tasks as needed.
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Help with stock rotation and inventory management as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
