About us:
Founded in Reading in July 2017 as a street food and catering business, after successfully building a following at local markets and events we went on to launch our first restaurant in Caversham in October 2019.
Our mission is to improve the world around us through spreading the joys of a healthier and more sustainable diet. Our focus is on making nourishing but indulgent food and everything we make is 100% plant based meaning vegetables really are the stars of the show!
We have just opened our second site in Bournemouth and hope to open even more!
Overview:
We are looking for a hard working individual who would like to join our small kitchen team! Roles include part and full time with a mixture of day/evening shifts including weekends. We are a fresh food kitchen so be prepared to be busy... always!
Job role:
- Part and full time hours
- Day shifts from 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Evening shifts from 3:00pm - 12:00am
- Weekend availability required
- Read and understand spec sheets to produce recipes
- Prepping the full menu from scratch
- Service: Reading tickets on the pass, following systems and communicating with fellow chefs
- Producing menu items to standards set by our Kitchen Manager
- Confident in high pressure situations and effective in slow periods
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures set by management
- Manage stock control, ordering and wastage
