We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Assist in the preparation of meals, including chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients as directed by the head chef or kitchen manager.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all utensils and equipment are properly cleaned and stored.
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure all food is handled, stored, and prepared safely.
- Support the catering team during events by preparing food items and assisting with service as needed.
- Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages to the kitchen manager.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods.
Skills
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation processes is essential.
