Are you ready to make a difference as our next Kitchen Assistant?

Are you passionate about food and want to make a real difference in people’s lives? We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our team and help create delicious, nutritious meals for our residents.

Working alongside our Chef, you’ll play a key role in preparing and serving meals, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, and ensuring every resident receives the high-quality dining experience they deserve.


  • Supporting the Chef with food preparation and meal service
  • Maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe kitchen environment
  • Helping manage stock levels and kitchen supplies
  • Preparing meals that meet individual dietary needs
  • Using kitchen equipment safely and reporting any faults
  • Working closely with the care team to understand residents’ preferences
  • Promoting a respectful, person-centred approach in all interactions
  • Supporting health & safety and food hygiene standards
  • Completing mandatory training to continue developing your skills


What skills and experience are we looking for?

  • Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
  • Someone who takes pride in their work and attention to detail
  • Respectful, polite, and passionate about delivering great service
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a supportive environment
