We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our kitchen team. Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation and food preparation tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Support chefs and cooks during service by preparing and assisting in plating dishes.
- Help with the cleaning of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain hygiene standards.
- Participate in inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages to the kitchen manager.
- Assist in serving meals to customers or guests as required, ensuring a high standard of presentation.
- Follow all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
Requirements
- Previous kitchen experience or culinary experience is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is highly desirable.
- Experience in catering or restaurant settings will be an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are essential for this role.

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
