Role Overview:
As a Junior Event Assistant, you will play a key role in assisting with the organisation and smooth running of marketing events. This entry-level position is perfect for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in event management within a creative marketing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of marketing events and promotional activities
- Support the event team with administrative tasks including scheduling, booking venues, and liaising with suppliers
- Help manage event logistics such as setup, registration, and on-site support
- Communicate with clients, attendees, and vendors to ensure smooth event execution
- Assist with marketing materials preparation and distribution before and during events
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to events
- Contribute ideas to improve event experiences and processes
- Provide post-event support, including feedback collection and reporting
Requirements:
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required
- Basic knowledge of marketing and event planning is a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable using digital communication tools
- Previous experience in customer service or event support is advantageous but not essential
