About The Role
Job Role
Working within the team you will:
- Assist with ensuring that the Parts Department is run as efficiently as possible
- Ensure customer demands are met, and you use your skills to ensure the correct solution is supplied
- Ensure that procedures are correctly carried out for the ordering of goods and their receipt, following the Dennison JCB process
- Ensure that all goods are received and checked and stored accurately
- Maintain an efficient stock control system
- Assist in the supply of parts to Engineers
- Ensure that the whole parts operations housekeeping is in good order
- Work with all areas of the Dealerpoint to ensure best practice is maintained, and a good working relationship is present
- Conduct yourself in a business-like and professional manner
Whilst most of your time is spent working at our Dennison JCB franchise in Templepatrick gaining experience with on-the-job training, you will also attend college on day release to gain recognised qualifications.
Training
Block Release at Riverpark Training in Mallusk includes:
- Level 3 Diploma in Vehicle Parts Principles – VRQ (Technical Certificate)
- Level 3 Diploma in Vehicle Parts Competence – QCF (Practical Competence)

Dennisons will support your training and pay you a salary!
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a very successful and well-established business.
Required Criteria
- GCSE Maths and English and preferably ICT at grade C or above
- Be able to competently use a desktop PC and associated software systems
- A reasonable understanding of the Microsoft Office package
Desired Criteria
- A background that would enable you to relate plant machinery parts knowledge to customer requirements would be advantageous.
