About The Role

Job Role

Working within the team you will:

  • Assist with ensuring that the Parts Department is run as efficiently as possible
  • Ensure customer demands are met, and you use your skills to ensure the correct solution is supplied
  • Ensure that procedures are correctly carried out for the ordering of goods and their receipt, following the Dennison JCB process
  • Ensure that all goods are received and checked and stored accurately
  • Maintain an efficient stock control system
  • Assist in the supply of parts to Engineers
  • Ensure that the whole parts operations housekeeping is in good order
  • Work with all areas of the Dealerpoint to ensure best practice is maintained, and a good working relationship is present
  • Conduct yourself in a business-like and professional manner

Whilst most of your time is spent working at our Dennison JCB franchise in Templepatrick gaining experience with on-the-job training, you will also attend college on day release to gain recognised qualifications.


Training

Block Release at Riverpark Training in Mallusk includes:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Vehicle Parts Principles – VRQ (Technical Certificate)
  • Level 3 Diploma in Vehicle Parts Competence – QCF (Practical Competence)
  • Essential Skills

Dennisons will support your training and pay you a salary!

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a very successful and well-established business.

Required Criteria

  • GCSE Maths and English and preferably ICT at grade C or above
  • Be able to competently use a desktop PC and associated software systems
  • A reasonable understanding of the Microsoft Office package


Desired Criteria

  • A background that would enable you to relate plant machinery parts knowledge to customer requirements would be advantageous.
