Job Title: Janitor

How will you make an impact?
This is a part-time role as part of a team of three. You will support the production laboratory staff, keeping the area clean and clear of obstructions, and you will help make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
What will you do?
- Work alongside and around the laboratory technicians to keep the lab and public areas clean, including restrooms and the warehouse.
- Clean and buff floors, and empty bins.
- Clean worktops, benching, and sink areas.
- Assist in prep when required. Load and unload glassware from dishwashers and sterilizers.
- Clear the canteen area after each meal service, maintain the coffee machine, and collect deliveries for the kitchen.
- Sweep and clean the warehouse floors.
- Perform further duties and responsibilities as required by the business and within the ability of the post holder.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Capable of following SOPs and Health and Safety guidelines.
- Good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with good attention to detail.
- Able to coordinate and prioritize tasks under own initiative.
- Attention to detail when following procedures and keeping manual records.
- Ability to perform complex manual tasks with dexterity.
- Computer literacy would be beneficial.
- Laboratory experience is an advantage.
- Exposure to a fast-paced, high efficiency manufacturing type environment would be valuable.
