Calling all Freelance IQA Assessors – City & Guilds Painting & Decorating
A flexible freelance opportunity for an experienced IQA Assessor to ensure the quality of our City & Guilds Level 1 Painting and Decorating course. Around 10–15 hours per month, with the chance to shape training standards and support learner success.
WCL Mind is looking for a passionate Freelance IQA Assessor to join our Skills Development Service. In this role, you’ll help us maintain excellence by reviewing course delivery, supporting tutors, and ensuring our learners receive the highest-quality training.
What you’ll do
- Review course materials to ensure they meet City & Guilds requirements
- Assess student work and tutor delivery to maintain quality
- Provide constructive feedback and clear quality assurance reports
What we’re looking for
- Experience as an IQA Assessor in vocational education
- Knowledge of City & Guilds Painting and Decorating programmes
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Clear and confident communication skills
The role
- Freelance position with flexible working
- Approximately 10–15 hours per month
- Evaluations carried out monthly
