James Cargo Fulfilment Ltd delivers millions of items every year, fulfilling orders across the supply chain throughout multiple channels. We have an exciting opportunity to work within our warehouse team and looking for someone who has a strong inventory background.
Main Purpose of Job Role:
Reporting to the Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all inventory control related activities.
1. Execute inventory control measures to ensure the company minimises stock holding and maximises stock system and paperwork accuracy.
2. The role carries responsibility for working with purchasing, goods inwards and dispatch to ensure necessary functions are carried out accurately in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the goods inbound / stock control department is well organised and controlled to sufficiently support the goals of the business.
- Ensure incoming product is receipted and managed appropriately according to company procedure and standards.
- Ensure materials are ready and available for locating and pick/packing as and when required.
- Monitoring of any rework carried out and uploading results onto template for account management.
- Creation of new arriving inbound receipt SKU’s.
- Investigate any stock outages and report findings to the Inventory Manager.
- Ensure integrity and accuracy of the stock management system.
- Oversee and maintain the company’s material and stocked product inventory including stock profiles and stock locations.
- Execute daily cycle counts across accounts.
- Carry out all requested stock transfers, ensuring confirmation is sent to the necessary customer on completion.
- Run stock report to advise inbound of put away locations.
- Printing of labels for overseas inbounds and following up with customers for account locations.
- Oversee replenishment process
- Ensure weekly stock pallet counts are carried out and sent to the billing department for customer billing.
- Creating and providing labels for new racking locations.
- ASN inbound creation on receipts if and when needed.
- Creation of new warehouse locations on request.
- Oversee full returns process on request
- Lead team for audit inventory customer requests.
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong inventory background/experience
- Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure / cost of poor quality
- Good planning skills and able to meet targets and deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail skills
Salary:
£2,000 to £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Feltham (near Heathrow) - reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Pay: £29,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
