Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Controller to join our team on a full time temporary basis until the end of January 2026. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring efficient inventory management and fulfilment processes ensuring our clients goods are well looked after and stored safely ready for shipping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management and Fulfilment:
- Conduct regular PI counts and resolve any queries raised.
- Monitor product expiration dates and damaged stock to prevent losses.
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for timely picking, packing, and dispatch of orders.
- Maintain and update inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Ensure accurate reflection of all stock adjustments in the system.
- Work with operation team leaders to investigate short picks.
- Review products on hold daily, investigate issues, and escalate as necessary.
- Assist the Inventory Manager with warehouse product profiling for optimum efficiency.
- Health & Safety Compliance:
- Ensure all inventory handling aligns with safety and regulatory standards.
- Adhere to Fidelity's overall standards and guidelines on health and safety.
- Operate consistently with Fidelity’s Purpose, Mission, Vision, and Values.
Competencies
- Experience:
- Proven experience in a fast-paced warehousing and fulfilment environment.
- Background in inventory control.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Proficient in warehouse management systems and MS Excel.
- Strong data collection and analytical skills.
- MHE licenses (Scissor Lift / Bendi) are favourable.
- Personal Attributes:
- Excellent organizational and critical thinking skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
