Job Role:
We require Hygiene Operatives to work in our Newry Site. Working from 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, this role requires flexibility and a willingness to work additional hours when required.
Working within the Hygiene team to complete the daily hygiene to a high standard.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring all the equipment in the factory (machinery, belts, ect.) are cleaned to the high standard - full training and PPE will be provided
- To adhere to safe working practices in accordance with legislation and company rules and regulations
- Promptly report any accidents, incidents or near misses to your manager or supervisor
- Report to your supervisor/Manager of the area concerned any maintenance requirements
- To work in a manner as to prevent or minimize the risk of accidents
- To adhere to current legislation with regards to safe food production
- To comply with managers/supervisors' instructions in a timely manner
- To ensure full understanding of all instructions given and ask for clarification if necessary
- To be responsible for the security and effective use of consumables during day-to-day activities
- To undertake such other reasonable duties as may from time to time be required
- Carry out all duties with respect for Health and Safety and housekeeping standards and regulations
- Observe Company policy on flexibility by moving to any other job necessary
- Undertake training/retraining and train other employees as required
- Undertake chemical training at ABP Newry
- Observe Company philosophy on proposals and continuous improvement for the betterment of plant, methods, working environment and efficiency
