HR Adviser - People Relations | 8833 | Temporary Contract for 24 Months | 37 hours per week | £37,280 - £39,152 per annum | Scale I | Norwich
HR Advisers provide comprehensive information, professional advice and guidance to managers, employees and other stakeholders. They deliver a high quality, progressive, equitable and inclusive employment experience for all employees.
The HR Service Centre provides HR’s front door to all areas of the service for our customers and delivers streamlined, responsive processes across the employee lifecycle including:
- Recruitment transactions from job requisitions to pre-employment onboarding
- HR transactions that feed into employees’ terms and conditions and pay
- Learning and Development transactions and specialist admin
- Processing reward transactions and job grading for approval by Policy and Reward specialists as appropriate
- Front Door myOracle helpdesk service level 1 resolution advice and guidance for all HR areas (excluding Health, Safety and Wellbeing), manager urgent advice line and HR casework level 1 - 3
- Formal HR process administration
- Implementation of establishment hierarchy structure change approvals made in the Policy and Reward Centre
Managed by the People Relations Consultants, the People Relations teams will primarily provide the services highlighted in bold above.
HR Advisers will deliver discrete work streams or activities in relation to these areas, primarily managing casework and providing advice and coaching to managers to support their people management practice.
HR Advisers may also be asked to directly manage posts at an appropriate grade within the service. The addition of (Team Lead) to the role title will be added to denote this.
There may be a level of travel required to local sites for this role.
