Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, ensuring all areas are spotless and well-maintained.
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish toiletries as required.
- Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to maintain cleanliness throughout the establishment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are used safely and stored correctly.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations within the housekeeping department.
Skills
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is essential.
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent time management skills, allowing for efficient completion of tasks within set timeframes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests and colleagues alike.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and willingness to learn new techniques or processes related to housekeeping duties.
