Job Description: Room attendant / Housekeeper
Purpose of job: To ensure that guest bedrooms, bathrooms and public areas are cleaned in a manner that exceeds our guest’s expectations and is to the Mour standards. To always incorporate the key points of service.
Hours of Work: 9.00am - 3.30pm Monday-Sunday. Contract for 12 hours (2x shifts per week) Overtime available
Main area of responsibilities
PRODUCT AND SERVICE QUALITY
- To ensure that duties are carried out in a quiet and efficient manner at all times
- To ensure we are striving to make every guest a repeat guest by providing excellent levels of standards at all times
- Use the appropriate materials and resources to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness (SOP and training)
- Knock twice on each room before entering, with a pause between each knock (Respect Do not disturb sign)
- Ensure lost property is labelled, bagged and handed to the housekeeping manager for safe keeping on a daily basis (safe available if valuable properties)
- Report all maintenance faults to Housekeeping manager or maintenance manager
FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION
- Ensure all resources and equipment are stocked and maintained to department standards, with control
- Ensure your worksheet of all tasks are completed and is signed off by yourself and your supervisor at the end of your shift
- Collect in pass key and work sheet daily

Experience:
- housekeeping: 1 year (preferred)
