Dora Rose care Home are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a passion and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation. As a Housekeeper assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our residents enjoy a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure a pristine environment.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain an inviting atmosphere.
- Vacuum carpets and mop floors to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained in an organised manner.
- Uphold the highest standards of hospitality by providing excellent service to guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role within the hospitality or care industry is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills and a friendly disposition towards guests and team members.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties for extended periods, including lifting and moving items as necessary.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting guest privacy.
