Housekeeping Assistant

37.5 hours a week - Monday to Friday
£23,890 per annum (WTE based on 37.5 hours)

15 hours a week - Saturday and Sunday
£9,556 per annum (£23,890 WTE based on 37.5 hours)

We have two job opportunities for a full time and a part time Housekeeping Assistant withinour friendly and supportive Housekeeping team. We are currently in the process of building a new Hospice on our existing site in Farnham, our In-Patient Unit (IPU) and this role will be based on a temporary basis at Kings Lodge Care Home in Camberley. We are aiming to move into our new Hospice within 12 months, at which point our IPU and this role will relocate from Kings Lodge in Camberley to the new Hospice in Farnham.

Our housekeepers are an essential part of our team, not only for housekeeping, but also for maintaining a positive and friendly atmosphere. Previous experience of similar work in an inpatient environment preferred, but not essential. The role provides in-house training for the successful candidate.

About You
A successful Housekeeping Assistant will have:

· A flexible and professional approach

· The ability to support clinicians

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Strong team working skills as well as the ability to work independently
