Field House is a residential care home catering for up to 55 residents, some with dementia and reduced mobility. As a member of the housekeeping team your role will be to ensure that the site is cleaned to a consistently high standard, providing a welcoming, healthy and safe environment. Working part time, 2 days of the week, 10am - 3pm.
Following a defined cleaning schedule; you will be responsible for a wide variety of general cleaning and laundry duties.
The role requires the use of chemicals and electrical equipment, therefore the successful candidate will be expected to go through our health and safety training.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES
To ensure that a high level of cleanliness is maintained in the communal and kitchenettes of Field House.
Expected to clean to the frequency and standards that are set out.
To ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to.
To use the cleaning materials appropriately, as instructed and economically.
Informing the management team when stock levels are running low.
To ensure that all tools and equipment are in good working order, reporting any faults to the management team.
Report to management team any defects seen which are likely to affect security or breach Health and Safety, for example broken/cracked window etc.
To carry out any other reasonable duties within the scope of the job.
To use only the approved cleaning materials and in accordance with the manufacturers printed instructions and COSHH regulations.
To be aware of their responsibilities to Health and Safety of themselves and others.
ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES
An understanding of English language.
