Kineton Manor Nursing Home offer private nursing care, both respite and long term as well as providing dementia, palliative and end of life care all from our wonderful 50+ bedroom private nursing home, nestled in the beautiful South Warwickshire village of Kineton.
We currently have an exceptional nursing and care team who are committed to providing quality services to our residents to ensure that they are enjoying living their lives to fullest in the way that they want to. We are now looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to come and join the Kineton Manor Nursing Home ‘family’ to further enhance our team.
Our home provides round the clock care seven days a week therefore flexibility is essential as weekend work on rotation will be required.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residents rooms and communal areas to ensure an exceptionally high standard of cleanliness.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitise surfaces to maintain the highest level of hygiene standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding residents laundry.
- Ensure that infection control policies and universal precautions are followed at all times.
- To actively engage with residents in conversation and meaningful occupation related to their lifestyle choices at a level and pace that values the individual and respects their dignity and communication differences.
- Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient operations within the home.

- Strong personal skills with the ability to interact positively with residents, families, visitors and team members within the home.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a busy environment.
- Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary - our shift pattern is normally a 5/7 days per week pattern - therefore you will not be required to work every weekend.
** Previous experience in housekeeping, commercial cleaning or working in the care sector is highly advantageous but not essential**

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.21 per hour
