About The Role

East Kent Colleges Group are looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to help keep our Dover College campus spotless and welcoming.

This role is term time only working 39 weeks per year, 15 hours per week, with a pro-rata salary of £7,371 per annum (£24,309 FTE)

You will also receive holiday payment of £994 (24 days FTE) which will be paid equally over your 12 monthly salary payments.

Shift Details: 5.30am to 8.30am Monday - Friday.

Your Role: Maintain the cleanliness of the college buildings and grounds, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for students and staff. Prior experience working within health and safety guidelines is beneficial.

About You

We are seeking to appoint a positive, proactive, and efficient Housekeeper to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work both independently and as part of a team.
- Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including the use of machinery.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Preferred Experience & Skills:
  • Previous experience in a commercial cleaning environment or the ability to learn quickly.
  • Commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Some technology/computer experience would be an advantage.
