We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within the hotel. This role is crucial in providing a welcoming environment for our guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their stay. Previous experience in hospitality or janitorial services is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including bathrooms, and living areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and linens in guest rooms and common areas.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and dining spaces.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed to support the overall housekeeping operations.
Experience
- Previous hotel experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- A background in hospitality or janitorial services is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.

Duties:
- Cleaning and preparing all en-suite hotel rooms for arrival guests and residents
- Carry out various cleaning tasks such dusting, sweeping, mopping, and polishing
- Assure that every space is maintained and inspected in compliance with requirements
- Protecting equipment and ensuring it is adequate; informing superiors of any damages, deficiencies, or disruptions; responding professionally and patiently to reasonable complaints or requests; keeping an eye on the stock levels of all consumables and replacing them as needed; closely adhering to health and safety regulations; and being aware of any company-related procedures
