We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing outstanding service and ensuring that our patrons enjoy their dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting with various tasks in the kitchen as needed.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus, providing detailed information about food and drink offerings.
- Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen staff efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our high standards.
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as required, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the workspace.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean dining area.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of meals.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- A passion for culinary arts and an understanding of menu items will enhance your ability to assist guests effectively.
