Job Overview
We run exciting and varied holiday camps for children aged 5–15, offering a wide range of sports, games, and creative activities in a safe and supportive environment. As a Holiday Camp Coach, you'll play a key role in delivering engaging sessions, supporting children’s development and safeguarding, plus ensuring every day at camp is full of fun and positive experiences.
Duties
- Plan and deliver fun, safe, and inclusive activities throughout the camp day
- Support the wellbeing, enjoyment, and participation of all children
- Ensure high standards of behaviour, safety, and safeguarding are maintained
- Work collaboratively with other coaches and camp leaders
- Help with set-up and pack-down of equipment and activity areas
- Be a positive role model, demonstrating enthusiasm, fairness, and energy throughout the day
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Skills
- Level 1 coaching qualification or teaching qualification
- A valid (or willing to obtain) enhanced DBS check – we can help arrange this
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Confident, engaging, and enthusiastic approach to working with children
- Ability to adapt sessions to different ages and abilities
- Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and procedures
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 2 months
Pay: £10.00-£12.25 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
