Working Hours: 6am - 3pm, Monday to Friday
Main purpose of role;
To work within the production area of the company assisting in the weighing, mixing and producing a range of cakes and desserts.
To adhere to the hygiene working practices to ensure the highest possible standards.
Main duties;
Working in a busy production environment, the role of our Production assistant is to;
- adhere to the hand washing and personal hygiene policies and procedures.
- adhere to the PPE and protective clothing policies and procedures.
- prepare raw ingredients for production, ensuring stock rotation and adhere to allergen working practices.
- weigh the ingredients and prepare the products as instructed on recipe and specification sheets.
- operate mixing, depositing and cutting equipment within instruction guidelines.
- Hand finish products where required.
- Clean down equipment and production area at the end of each shift.
- Monitor and maintain the quality of the product throughout the process.
- Complete all relevant paperwork fully every time a product is produced.
- Adhering to HACCP procedures, working within the timeframe guidelines to ensure the product remains at the correct temperature.
- Work within Health and Safety guidelines and working practices.
