We are more than the average driving role; you will be an active and highly appreciated team member of the crew. You will be transporting plant equipment and could be operating as a tipper driver with skill and precision.
This role is for the hands-on individuals who do not want to watch the job get done but want more!
Typical shift
- Loading and unloading plant equipment UK wide
- Working as a tipper driver on site and delivering plannings to tip
- Working with your transport coordinator to plan efficient routes
- Ensuring you comply with Road Trasport and Tachograph driving rules and regulations.
- Ensuring your load is secure and safe
- Conducting daily vehicle checks and minor maintenance such as Oil, Coolant, bulbs
- Completion and submission of paperwork: Waste transfer notes, fuel receipts, timesheets.
This role requires someone who is flexible and adaptable to change. Shift patterns are guaranteed minimum of five shifts in seven days, based on a Monday to Sunday week, and involve some nights out during the week as well as some night shifts and alternative weekend work. We are a 24/7 operation and although we plan changes can happen.
