We are now seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Hearing Care Assistant to join our team, working between our Ebbw Vale and Cardiff branches.
Role Overview
As a Hearing Care Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our patients with their hearing needs. You will carry out ear wax removal, assist Audiologists/Hearing Aid Dispensers with patient care, and provide support with hearing aid maintenance and associated administrative duties. Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with hearing aid fittings, adjustments, and maintenance.
- Carry out ear wax removal using a range of clinical methods.
- Provide aftercare services and troubleshoot basic hearing aid issues.
- Perform hearing screenings under supervision.
- Offer advice and guidance on hearing health and products.
- Manage patient appointments and update records accurately.
- Support the Audiologist during consultations and assessments.
- Ensure excellent patient care and uphold confidentiality at all times.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer proficiency for record keeping and scheduling.
- Previous experience in the field is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided.
