The shift pattern for this position is rotational Long day shift pattern 0730-2015on days 2015-0730 on nights.
We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experience individual to join our team as a health care support worker.
The Directorate of Forensic Mental Health provides inpatient care in both medium and low secure settings. The service provides a safe, secure and therapeutic environment for patients with a focus on risk assessment and reduction, rehabilitation and discharge planning for the return to the community.
The post holder will be responsible for assisting in the provision of specialist nursing care and treatment for individuals who have a mental disorder or learning disability who have demonstrated serious offending behaviour or present a significant risk to themselves or others. The post holder as part of the multi-disciplinary team, will provide care through a patient focused approach, within a safe and secure environment under pinned by risk assessment and risk management that will maximize the individual’s rehabilitation potential.
