We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
- Support the implementation of care plans tailored to individual needs and preferences.
- Maintain accurate records of residents' health and progress, ensuring compliance with care standards.
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and the healthcare team to provide updates on care and wellbeing.
- Drive to various locations as required for home care visits or training sessions.
- Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in healthcare practices.
Experience
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow them accurately is advantageous.
- Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with residents and colleagues.
- Strong IT skills are beneficial for maintaining records and using healthcare software.
