To be the first point of contact for patients. To assist in the provision of the service and contribute to the effective running of the Department ensuring they contribute towards a quality patient experience.

To assist registered nursing staff with the provision of individualised care of patients as well as assess patients obtaining their height, weight, BP, ECG, MRSA & CPR screening – action results.

To provide care and support to relatives and carers attending the Department.

The applicant is expected to be an effective member of the team and contribute to the best possible use of resources and must be able to work under their own initiative.

To provide clinical and clerical support to the multidisciplinary team.

To gather Information from other trusts, MDT team, GP, etc and assist and help in the clinics, pre op, ambulatory & C3. And partake on urinary analysis.

Assist in preparation and cleaning of the environment pre and post clinics. To ensure all equipment is available
To carry out taking of blood (venepuncture and hemocue) and track case notes.
