Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients. Your primary focus will be on assisting with daily living activities, ensuring the comfort and well-being of our clients while adhering to their individual care plans. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a basic understanding of IT systems, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients in maintaining their independence by encouraging participation in daily activities.
- Implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Document client progress and any changes in condition accurately in accordance with company policies.
- Drive to clients' homes or other locations as required for home care services.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by following health and safety protocols.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a healthcare or caring role is desirable but not essential.
- Understanding of care plans and home care practices is advantageous.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.
- A valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving travel to client locations.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is essential.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being able to work independently when required.

Pay: £24,800.00-£25,000.00 per year
