Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in their own homes. Your primary responsibility will be to assist individuals with daily living activities while ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to follow care plans effectively.
Key Duties
- Assist patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support individuals with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding when required, promoting nutritional health.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and promptly report any changes in condition.
- Work alongside other healthcare professionals to deliver tailored care plans.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance patients’ quality of life.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment by following hygiene protocols and infection control measures.
- Shifts available: Days and Nights.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of care experience in the UK (essential).
- Strong communication skills in English for effective interaction with patients and colleagues.
- A valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
