Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Cardinal Clinic. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients, assisting them with daily activities and contributing to their overall well-being in a therapeutic environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Support the implementation of individualized care plans under the guidance of healthcare professionals.
- Communicate effectively with patients to foster a supportive and trusting environment.
- Document patient progress and report any changes in behavior or condition to the medical team.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving patient care.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a healthcare assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Compassionate nature with a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.
