The primary roles of this function are: - Undertake new patient and NHS checks, emphasising importance of health promotion ECG recording and 24-hour BP monitoring Phlebotomy Undertake wound care and dressings Performing spirometry tests (interpretations will be undertaken by a nurse) Support the management of chronic disease clinics, such as CVD, diabetic health check reviews, dementia and SMI reviews Provide vaccinations e.g. flu, RSV, shingles Ear irrigation Support the operational running of the nursing team, e.g. vaccine cold storage, fridge monitoring and recording, chaperoning, room stocking, checking emergency drugs/bags, processing laboratory samples
