Salary: NJC SCP 18 to 23 (£30,559 to 33,366 per annum, pay award pending).
Hours: 37 hours per week with some evening and weekend working required.

As Operations Lead for the new Health & Wellbeing Centre at St. Dunstan’s House, this role will be overseeing the day-to-day operations of the centre, and all aspects of hub functionality, motivating and managing staff, optimising efficiency and overall performance, ensuring the centre achieves its long-term strategic objectives in a safe and effective working environment.
They will also work collaboratively with the local authority, NHS providers and VCFSE partners to provide services for the needs of the local population using population health data. Using project management skills, they will drive the centre to the next level as the heart of the local community.
They will also manage and coordinate aspects of centre finances, optimising efficiency and financial performance. They will be supporting the management team in championing Equality Diversity & Inclusion, Fire Safety, Health & Safety, Quality & Continuous Improvement, Confidentiality, Collaborative Working, Service Delivery, Learning and Development and promoting a positive working environment.
The post holder will be required to work flexibly across the working week (with some set hours) ensuring the role can attend and respond to required workstreams.
The post holder will have excellent communication skills and be confident with working with individuals from different communities, cultures, ages, sexualities, and genders. They will be expected to work with a non-judgmental attitude.
- Responsible for the monitoring, reporting on and responding to, in liaison with the partners and appropriate staff, the centre’s performance.
- Ensure that the day-to-day operational demands on are met by working in conjunction with the partners and the wider multi-disciplinary team.

- Work with the partners on supporting business cases/funding applications to develop the services, responding to request for information and data as required.

- The postholder will work with the councils Responsible Finance Officer for financial control across the centre and will work closely with all colleagues to ensure finances are working to the benefit of the centre.
- Support the Council’s Responsible Finance in leading the annual financial planning for the centre.
- Responsible for creating safe working practices.
- Responsible for interpretation and presentation of data to and will respond to requests for data.
- The management of the centre and ensuring that it is safely maintained.
- Take the lead on health and safety aspects of the centre and report to and support the person(s) responsible for health & safety.
- Ensure that procedures are in place to ensure that the buildings and property within it is secure at all times.
- Ensure that repairs/issues/defects relating to both the buildings and equipment is logged on the centre maintenance list.
- Administering the centre incident reporting policy.
- Recording of accidents and incidents appropriately and taking appropriate action including reporting as necessary.
- Ensure that all staff are aware of and follow health and safety policies.
