Summary of the role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join Learning Experiences & Innovation (LXI) is the ‘go-to’ service across the Exeter learning community in uplifting our students, academics, staff, and partners to co-create a distinctive learning experience where every learner thrives.
We are seeking an experienced and proactive programme manager to take on the role of Head of Taught Portfolio Sustainability — a key post supporting the University’s ambitions for a more sustainable, efficient, and inclusive taught portfolio. This full-time position is available from 1 August 2025 on a fixed term basis until 31 July 2026.
The postholder will enable the design and delivery of processes for ongoing programme review, working with key stakeholders and governance groups. The post will be responsible for building on current initiatives to devise, implement and manage recurrent portfolio review, in order to embed a sustainable and continuous improvement approach to decision-making that supports the long-term success of the teaching portfolio.
The role also involves working with Finance and other stakeholders to monitor progress against benefits, assess financial implications, and provide assurance to senior governance groups. Strong stakeholder engagement, analytical insight, and experience delivering complex change are essential.
