The Role
We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Face-to-Face Services to lead the operational delivery and development of our in-person urgent care services, including home visiting, base appointments, and physical site management.
This is a senior leadership role within our Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) division, reporting to the Deputy Divisional Director of Operations. You’ll have strategic and operational oversight of our face-to-face services, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality delivery across multiple sites and teams.
You’ll work in close partnership with Clinical, Quality and Operational colleagues to ensure services are well-coordinated, patient-centred, and aligned with our regulatory, contractual and digital standards. At the heart of this role is a passion for supporting our people - creating a culture where performance, inclusion, wellbeing and continuous improvement are all given equal weight.
What you’ll need
- Strong experience leading urgent care or face-to-face clinical services in a complex healthcare setting
- A proven track record in service transformation, performance management and operational leadership
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams across dispersed or complex sites
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with system partners, commissioners and regulators
- The ability to think strategically, while being hands-on with service challenges
- A deep commitment to colleague wellbeing, development and inclusion
- Skilled in interpreting and acting on data, digital systems, and quality improvement initiatives
- NHS or IUC experience is highly desirable
